Best Tasting Green Smoothie

Green smoothies often get a bad rap. After all, many people new to eating healthier foods associate green-based drinks with tasting “bad” or “grassy.” But that’s simply not true! While the green hue dominates the look of the smoothie, nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to the taste! And that’s why I’m sharing this recipe for my Best Tasting Green Smoothie. Complete with tropical flavors and a natural sweetness, this is one of the most delicious smoothie recipes you’ll ever make!

All of that said, you know this recipe comes with a ton of health benefits. First, it contains bananas, which are loaded with vitamins and minerals such as potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and more. Bananas are also rich in pectin, which has been shown to not only support healthy blood sugar levels but also aid satiety by delaying gastric emptying. [1

This Best Tasting Green Smoothie also contains mango, which is another food rich in pectin and numerous vitamins and minerals. But that’s not all. In a 2018 study, researchers found that people with chronic constipation experienced more relief when consumed mango versus an equivalent amount of dietary fiber. [2] This supports the fact that mango supports digestive health.

Finally, another key ingredient this smoothie is spinach, which has been shown to both fight and help prevent oxidative stress. [3, 4] It’s important to note that oxidative stress has been linked to numerous health concerns, from cancer to diabetes to cardiovascular disease. [5]

As you can see, my Best Tasting Green Smoothie is not only delicious with a flavor profile that will make you feel like you’re vacationing in the caribbean, but it’s also full of healthy ingredients to support your overall well-being. With only six ingredients, you can whip up this quick and easy smoothie anytime you need a healthy breakfast or snack on the run!
