qEEG Brain Mapping

SEE THE BRAIN BEHIND YOUR SYMPTOMS

Understand how your brain works

so you can start working with it, not against it.

THERE ISN'T ONE "NORMAL" BRAIN

Two patients can experience the same symptoms, or even share the same diagnosis, and have very different brain patterns.

qEEG brain mapping is a simple, non-invasive recording of brainwave activity that gives you another layer of objective information.

Instead of simply asking, “What’s wrong?” Brain mapping helps answer “Why is this happening?”

WHEN BRAIN MAPPING MAKES SENSE

Brain Fog, Stress & Everyday Function

Feeling mentally exhausted, easily overwhelmed, or struggling to focus? Brain mapping provides another layer of information about your brain activity, helping you better understand patterns associated with attention, mental energy, and stress.

Hormones & Midlife

Hormonal transitions can coincide with changes in sleep, mood, focus, and mental energy. Brain mapping offers additional insight into your brain activity during these transitions, helping inform a more individualized approach to your overall well-being.

Children's Focus, Learning & Behavior

When your child struggles with attention, emotional regulation, or everyday functioning, understanding their individual brain activity may provide additional information to discuss with their healthcare provider and help guide personalized support.

Parents can map their brains, too, helping families see where their patterns are similar, where they differ, and how those differences may influence communication, stress, and connection.

Cognitive Health & Aging

Interested in understanding your cognitive health as you age? Brain mapping provides a snapshot of your current brainwave activity that can serve as one reference point alongside other appropriate health assessments.

Longevity & Performance

Whether you want to improve your daily routines or support long-term cognitive wellness, understanding your brain activity can help inform lifestyle decisions tailored to your individual needs.

    FAQs

    What is a Neuro Performance Report™ ? Can I see a sample?

A Neuro Performance Report™ is a quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) analysis and reporting system designed to provide clinically relevant insights into brain function. It translates complex brainwave data into actionable reports, helping healthcare providers make informed decisions on diagnosis and treatment.

Why would someone do a brain scan if nothing is “wrong”?

Many people choose brain mapping not because they have a diagnosis, but because they want a clearer understanding of how their brain is functioning.

A qEEG scan can reveal patterns related to focus, stress response, mental energy, and emotional processing, even in people who consider themselves generally healthy.

For some, it helps explain challenges like brain fog, overwhelm, or difficulty concentrating. For others, it simply provides deeper insight into how their brain works so they can make more informed decisions about lifestyle, work, and mental performance.

How is this different from traditional cognitive testing?

Traditional cognitive testing evaluates how well you perform on tasks like memory, attention, and processing speed.

qEEG brain mapping looks at something different: the electrical activity of your brain itself.

Instead of measuring performance on a test, it measures how different regions of your brain are communicating and regulating activity. This allows us to identify patterns related to focus, stress response, mental energy, and emotional regulation that may not appear in standard cognitive testing.

    What happens after I purchase?

After your purchase, you will receive an email to schedule your qEEG brain mapping session with Dr. Pingel at her office: 8686 N Central Ave Suite 214, Phoenix, AZ 85020

The scan itself takes about 20 minutes and is performed comfortably in our office. Small sensors are placed on your scalp to record brain activity while your eyes are open and closed.

    Once your scan is complete:

    • your brain data is analyzed
    • your Neuro Performance Report™ is generated
    • you’ll receive access to your Neuroscience Decoded guide and additional resources in your online portal

Your results will help you better understand how your brain processes focus, stress, mental energy, and emotional responses, and how to work with those patterns more effectively.

Where will I receive my scan?

You will receive your qEEG brain scan with Dr. Pingel at her clinic:

    PPM EEG Clinic
    8686 N Central Ave
    Suite 214
    Phoenix, AZ 85020

How long does it take to receive my results?

After your scan is completed, your brainwave data is analyzed and compiled into your Neuro Performance Report™.

Most patients receive their report and access to the Neuroscience Decoded guide within 7-10 business days of their scan.

    Is qEEG brain mapping safe?

Yes. qEEG brain mapping is completely non-invasive and safe.

The sensors placed on your scalp simply record electrical activity that your brain naturally produces. Nothing is sent into your brain, and there is no radiation, medication, or discomfort involved.

Most people find the process relaxing and the entire recording takes less than 20 minutes.

How is a Neuro Performance Report™ different from a standard qEEG report?

Traditional qEEG reports often present raw data without clear clinical application. Our Neuro Performance Report™ goes beyond this by translating neurophysiological patterns into meaningful insights, allowing providers to better understand neurological dysfunction and guide treatment strategies with greater precision.

What clinical applications does a Neuro Performance Report™ support?

A Neuro Performance Report™ can assist in the assessment and treatment planning for a variety of mental health conditions, including neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, traumatic brain injury and concussion, addiction and recovery programs, cognitive performance optimization, sleep dysregulation, and other psychiatric conditions.

Is a Neuro Performance Report™ intended to replace other diagnostic tools?

No, a Neuro Performance Report™ is designed to complement existing assessments, providing an additional layer of objective, neurophysiological data. It works alongside clinical evaluations, psychological assessments, and other clinical techniques to enhance diagnostic accuracy.

What are the advantages of using Neuro Performance Report™ over other neuroimaging methods?

Neuro Performance Report™ is non-invasive, radiation-free, and does not require medication washout. It provides real-time insights into brain function, can be performed in-office within minutes, and is a cost-effective alternative to all other neuroimaging.

How is the Neuro Performance Report™ generated?

The process begins with an in-office qEEG recording performed by a trained staff member. The EEG data is then securely transmitted to certified Axon EEG Solutions via their secure platform, EEGDataHub for analysis. The results are compiled into a clinically interpretable report, which your provider can use to develop personalized treatment plans.
